The University of Evansville (UE) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Averett to the role of Assistant Vice President of Facilities and Operations.

Since joining the University in February 2022 as the Executive Director of Facilities Management and Planning, Averett has brought over 15 years of higher education facilities services experience, making a substantial impact on campus.

Under Mike's leadership, the Facilities Management and Planning department has seen significant improvements, enhancing both functionality and operational reach across the University. His commitment to excellence and strategic vision has been instrumental in driving forward numerous initiatives that have benefited the entire campus community.

"I am thrilled to take on this new responsibility and continue working with our exceptional team,” said Averett. “We will strive to further enhance the infrastructure and operations of the University, ensuring a vibrant and sustainable environment for our students, faculty, and staff."
